Pricing research (board committee)

Morgan charters Taylor, Riley, and Casey to research NA TMS/dispatch pricing. You only approve or reject in Approvals.

GTM intelligence (automated team cycle)

Riley Crest (Marketing) runs weekly product surveys, broad delivery-industry research, and social activation (Mon/Wed/Fri). Jordan integrates hooks into prospecting; live social posts require your approval.

Jordan searches the web by 346 SEO keywords + city (US, CA, MX, AU, NZ, CAM, SAM), dedupes by domain, and inserts net-new rows only. Each run advances the keyword cursor — one batch ≠ all keywords done. Does not delete or re-scan existing CRM rows while Morgan harvest mode is active.

SBS Dispatch video demos

Run live product demos with prospects using Jitsi Meet (open-source video + screen share). Invites send from Jordan Pike (Sales) with a calendar file (.ics). No install required for prospects.

Recommended setup (best path)

  1. Start now on the public Jitsi server (meet.jit.si) — already configured, zero extra servers. Best for getting demos running today.
  2. Add the optional env keys in api/.env so duration and join-page URL stay consistent (see below).
  3. Self-host later at meet.sbsdispatch.com when demo volume grows — change one env var (JITSI_MEET_DOMAIN) and restart ZoneCalcAPI. Full steps in deploy/jitsi/README.md.
  4. Optional next: auto-insert demo links in Jordan’s outbound email drafts — ask ops to enable when you want every sales touch to include a booking CTA.

Quick start — host a screen-share demo

  1. Go to Sales → Pipeline and click Demo on a prospect (or use the buttons above).
  2. Enter company, prospect name, email, and time. Keep Email invite to prospect checked.
  3. Click Schedule & open (or Start now for an immediate room).
  4. Your browser opens the demo room — allow microphone and camera when prompted.
  5. Click the Share screen button (monitor icon) in the toolbar and select the browser tab showing SBS Dispatch.
  6. Walk through dispatch, orders, drivers, and tracking. Use Chat to paste links.
  7. When finished, close the room or click Complete under Sales → Demo meetings.

What the prospect receives

  • Email from jordan.pike@sbsdispatch.com with a green Join demo meeting button.
  • Calendar attachment (sbs-dispatch-demo.ics) for Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Mail.
  • Guest link opens a branded SBS page — they join in the browser with no account or download.

Where to manage demos

  • Sales → Demo meetings — upcoming rooms, join (host), copy guest link, resend invite, mark complete.
  • Sales → Pipeline → Demo — schedule from any prospect row.
  • ApprovalsSchedule video demo on email approvals that include a prospect.

Host tips for a great demo

  • Join 2–3 minutes early; test mic and screen share before the prospect arrives.
  • Share a browser tab (not the whole desktop) so notifications stay private.
  • Start on the dispatcher dashboard, then show order entry, driver assignment, and customer tracking.
  • Prospects in NEW stage move to DEMO when you schedule a demo.

When self-hosting: set JITSI_MEET_DOMAIN=meet.sbsdispatch.com, provision Linux + Docker Jitsi, point DNS, enable HTTPS, then restart ZoneCalcAPI.

Troubleshooting

  • Screen share blocked — use Chrome or Edge; allow permission when prompted; HTTPS is required (our join page is HTTPS).
  • Invite did not send — confirm prospect email; copy guest link from Demo meetings and send manually from Jordan’s mailbox.
  • Prospect cannot hear you — check mic unmuted; confirm browser allowed microphone access.
  • Demo meetings tab empty after error — ensure migration 124-sbs-demo-meetings ran on ZoneCalc_catalog.
